Pelvic, hip and groin treatment

We know that pelvic, hip and groin pain can arise in a number of ways. They can appear suddenly or gradually. Sudden traumatic injuries can lead to muscle injuries, tendon or ligament strains, bone fractures, dislocations or joint injuries.

Some examples are skiing, car and sports accidents. Sometimes the symptoms also develop gradually due to poor posture, muscular imbalances, repetitive activities or unfavorable nervous tension.

We treat pelvic, hip and groin disorders

Because the lower back and several of the muscles that cross your hip and knee are so close together, it's important to do a thorough examination to find out what the root cause of your discomfort is.

We typically address a range of issues, including:

  • postural weaknesses.

  • Rehabilitation after surgical interventions.

  • Rehabilitation after fractures.

  • Acute strains.

  • Labral or cartilage tears.

  • Muscle fiber tears or disorders of muscle movement.

  • Back pain radiating to (or related to) the hip or groin.

Our approach to treating pelvic, hip and groin pain

The hip plays a crucial role in stability when standing and even when sitting. This means it is important to develop the strength to control the joint and correct any biomechanical problems.

As part of our treatment, we aim to restore range of motion and reduce soft tissue limitations. This can be achieved through manual therapy and a solid rehabilitation program.

It is also important to regain strength and movement lost before and after surgery.

Our goal is to make your rehabilitation process as smooth as possible. At our Pure Physio rehabilitation center and with the help of our qualified doctors, we can design and implement a tailor-made treatment or prevention program for you to prevent your problem from recurring. Whether you want to exercise at the highest level or just want to go for a jog, we can help you achieve your goals.
